Apple picking in Vegas
We went to Gilcrease orchard today! My son Liam learned last week in school all about apples and apple orchards. So what better time then fall to go. It's free entry so you just pay for the fruits and vegetables you pick. You can use a bag they hand out they also have wheel barrels. The wheel barrels were just laying around also free to use. We went early cause it's still getting up to high 90°s here in Vegas. It was about 80° it felt perfect. The kids loved everything about it. Liam was a pro apple picker he showed us how to properly pick them off the trees. I loved the rows of trees and the mountains in the background it really was so beautiful. They also had a huge pumpkin patch a real patch! We are gonna go back another time and get some pumpkins. At checkout they have a stand of donuts, apple cider, popcorn, and candy apples.
